Allister Furey

Having completed a MSc in Evolutionary and Adaptive Systems in 2005, Allister is currently at the Centre for Computational Neuroscience and Robotics at the University of Sussex, writing up his DPhil thesis on the application of Evolutionary Robotics techniques to airborne wind energy systems.
He has been providing consultancy, software and robotic systems to airborne wind energy startups in the US and Europe since 2008 and has presented technical material relating to control and modeling of kite-based wind energy systems at academic conferences and institutions in Europe and Japan.
