Kurt Geebelen is a PhD-student at the mechanical engineering department of the K.U. Leuven working on automatic control of tethered airplanes in the K.U.Leuven Kite Power research program. In his master's thesis he developed a test platform for rotational start-up and landing of tethered airplanes.
