David Lang
Board Member - Drachen Foundations
Mr. Lang has over 40 years of experience in aerospace flight dynamics and simulation. He worked at NASA through the Gemini and Apollo programs up to the first flight of the Shuttle. After leaving the space agency, he was contracted by NASA to develop the software to perform a flight readiness certification simulation for Shuttle tethered-satellite missions. He has been involved in all of NASA’s tether programs since. As a part of this effort, he developed the Generalized Tethered Object Simulation System software that has since been used by the government and over 30 aerospace and engineering companies to analyze space and terrestrially-based tethered systems.
