Michael Sherback
Control System Engineer - Joby Energy
Before working on simulation and control at Joby Energy, Michael Sherback developed quadrotor simulation and control software at ETH Zurich. His Cornell PhD thesis and publications involve iterative learning control, human-in-the-loop modeling using optimal control, and aging effects on sensorimotor behavior. He worked on the TL-2000 laser while at the telecom components startup Santur, of which >250,000 have shipped. He enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and the company of his wife Grace Li, a postdoc at ETH Zurich in biomaterials.
