Damon Vander Lind
Makani Power
Damon Vander Lind leads the Systems Engineering team at Makani Power. He holds degrees in physics and electrical engineering from MIT. He has been responsible for many developments at Makani including hybrid turbine/propeller blades, passively stable, human flyable planforms, a robust predictive controller, and a number of kite-specific simulation codes. In his spare time he likes to climb, windsurf, and tinker in the shop.
